Antique cabinet style sewing machine by White, circa 1970 in Ashton, Ontario for sale

Great looking piece of furniture that is also a fantastic discussion piece and could even be used for its original purpose!
This is a cabinet style sewing machine made by White Sewing Machine Products. Wooden cabinet that opens reveal a stow-away classic sewing machine. Overall cabinet is in very good condition with some surface scratching on the top (when closed) surface which is actually the bottom of the work surface when it is opened.
This has not been used in many years but the motor is working perfectly as is the rheostat pedal; which is actually knee operated rather than a foot model. The sewing mechanism also appears to be all be working but feels pretty gummed up so likely needs a good cleaning and oiling. The main drive belt is still there but is worn & stretched to the point that it is no longer usable. Overall though, an excellent condition machine that would take very little to have it running perfectly again.
We've had this for many years but have always just used it as an interesting accent table that always gets some good attention when people find out it is more than that. Nice antique piece of furnitaure that you can add to any room.
